Anca Irina Lefter is a visionary artist whose work spans painting, conceptual leather design, and immersive installations. Through her signature brands AIL and Ch2 Vinyls, she creates symbolic, wearable art rooted in music, nature, and memory. Her practice is both sensorial and spiritual, bridging ancient alchemy with contemporary craftsmanship.
Biography
Born in the Danube Delta in Tulcea, Romania, into a family of artists and alchemists, Anca began her painting journey at the age of two with Master Vlahos at the Children’s Palace. At 15, she moved to Bucharest to study Mural Arts at Nicolae Tonitza High School. Though initially drawn to pursue drawing at Lorenzo di Medici in Florence, she redirected her path to study business management and negotiation in Bucharest.
After several years in corporate sales and real estate, Anca returned to the arts, studying Accessory and Leather Design in Barcelona and Florence. Since then, she has dedicated her career to conceptual design, contemporary painting, and immersive art experiences under the umbrella of Portal. Her works have been exhibited across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and worn by artists like David Guetta, Tara McDonald, and Loredana Groza.
